Blog Melantak Oooh Cambodia.... Land of Camry's, Land cruisers and Range Rovers. Seriously, you can find Toyota Camry from all production years. From the oldest version to the latest. Even those not seen on Malaysian road. Lookslike the toyota is dominating theor road. A camry and any lexus mid size carswill cost you 45 k. In MYR bro, not in US dullars. This is also the first time that i rode in left hand drive make of any car and quite jakun l a for the first time..

The first came to our mind.. 'apa nak makan malam ni'. Knowing that we're not in muslim majority country n malas nak masak maggi plak tu, its a bit woriying that we coldn' find any halal food nearby hotel. Later that evening, Eming, a friend ask us to join him strolling through out phnom penh, jalan punye jalan, we're getting hungry and drop by a restaurant named the tamarind. No pork, then ok la... We sat down n make our order. Its the first time i take Amok fish - 'Amok trei' in khmer language - i confirm that with my maid)

Weekend Breakfast From Section 7, Kota Damansara

Eevery weekend aku akan beli breakfast in order tak bebankan isteri tersayang prepare breakfast lama2. Selalunye aku akan singgah 2 gerai ni kat Seksyen 7 Kota Damansara.

1. Nasi Lemak Berlauk - Satu singgit

Gerai nasi lemak ni dekat dengan stesen minyak Shell Kota Damansara. Akak yang jual nasi lemak ni cuma berniaga hari sabtu ngan ahad je. Assortment dia ada between 7 - 9 jenis lauk. korang boleh tengok kat gabar atas tu. Feveret aku biasnye lauk ayam ngan telur. Nasi lemak ayam dia ada ayam seketul, then sambal. sama gak ngan telur. Each sold at RM 1 which is very berbaloi. Nasi dia sikit je, so kalau orang bersaiz dewasa & matang cam aku ni perlukan 2 bungkus untuk bagi kenyang. Nasi & lauk dia memang best. Baru2 ni aku cuba daging, pun sedap gak. ada 2ketul daging. Yang agak kurang sikit is kerang. Its way below my expectation in terms of rasa & resipi lauk kerang tu.

Bende yang best lagi pasal nasi lemak tu, akak tu bungkus nasi tu kat tempat dia berniaga. Jadi nasi lemak sentiasa panas dan dia boleh meet in demand lauk yang kita nak. Anyway, nasi lemak dia selalu abis menjelang kol 10 dan meniaga hari sabtu & ahad je.

Aku recommend nasi lemak ayam, telur, daging & sotong.
Sorang kena makan 2 bungkus.

Last Saturday aku bawak anak aku - Adam n Aishah for an ice cream adventure at Tutti Fruiti kat blakang Sunway Giza Kota Damansara. Its actually frozen yogurt. Aku tak tau apa nak expect upon entering the ice cream parlour.

Bile masuk je... kedai tu kosong... cuma ada sorang attendant je. Since aku first timer, another attendant came out to help. there are steps yang kena follow kalau nak enjoy tutti fruiti ni.
1. pick your cup - ada 3 size, kecik, sedang2 dan besar. kitorang amik cup yang kecik sorang satu.
2. select flavour.

masa aku datang ada 8 flavour - Vanilla, Chocolate, Yam, Tutti Fruiti (fav aku), strawberry, orange, green apple and mango. Just pull the lever and walla... the frozen yogurt comes down to the cup. You can mix them up as you like. All of us get th basic vanilla & chocolate. Adam pilih sendiri strawberri & Aishah tambah Yam. Aku plak tambah Tutti Fruiti.

3. select toppings

For the kids this is the best part. They got to pick colourful fruits. Even though Adam tak makan buah2, tapi dia pilih gak cut fruit as toppings. Memang ada multiple jenis buah dan tempting nak amik semua.

Then there are nuts & grains... pun tempting gak. Very sesuai for those who wanted to lose weight.
3. weigh your tutti fruiti - once topping is complete, the attendant will help you to weigh everything (including the plastic spoon and the serviettes) - Gile berkira diorang ni. xde yang free ke?
4. pay your tutti fruiti - Ni part paling berat - Your frozen yogurt with toppings (and the plastic spoon and the serviettes) costs you RM 5.30 per 100 gram. So, 3/4 of the smallest cup will cost you at RM 12 on average. Of course, cut the fruits as they weighed heavier and choose the grains instead. 3 orang makan ice cream, aku kena bayar RM 39.

The Looks

Nampak sedap... rasa memang sedap. Even though yogurt is suppose to be sour and taste too much milk, frozen yogurt pulak rasa manis. Plus all the toppings - rasa cam makan ice cream biasa.

Oh ya... ada bende free kat dalam tu. Plain water.
Diorang prepare a jug of plain water at the counter.

I recommend tutti fruiti especially for those who wanted to lose weight and for kids.

Wings Opera Hidup at Istana Budaya

Walau asalnye blog ni aku dedicate untuk makan-makan, tapi aku nak citer gak pasal konsert wings. (dah blog aku, so suka hati la apa aku nak update ye tak.)

Kejap tadi aku gi nonton Konser Wings Opera Hidup kat Istana Budaya. Julung2 kalinye rock band buat show kat Istana Budaya, so aku make sure tak terlepas nak tengok. Tiket da la mahal plak tu. Anyway thanks to Syaz yg dapatkan tiket untuk aku.

Bile aku sampai nak parking at about 7:45 pm, parking terlalu penuh & terpaksa park kat depan tabung darah negara. kat perkarangan Istana Budaya tu plak ada banyak booth Harley, Vespa, Brabus dan lain2.

So... bile nak citer konsert nye?????

Citer pasal Stage dulu....
Ada 3 bahagian
1. Depan - Rock Stage untuk the band perform and interact.
2. Tengah - Orchestra Stage untuk 43 members of National Symphony Orchestra
3. Belakang - Choir Stage utk 16 members of the choir and 3 orang backing vocal

Next is the songs & the show.....
opening song - Opera Hidup, memang mantap. tajuk dia pun Konsert Opera Hidup Rockestra masa ni tirai untuk orchestra members tak terbukak lagi. aku tercari2 mana sound orchestra ni datang. Layan Joe punye goreng ngan Awie nye vocal.... malas nak cari..

Next Song - Hukum Karma - masa ni la tirai orchestra tu terbukak dan nampak all the violins.

At this point of time, aku dah lupa lagu2 yang diorang main coz aku really enjoy the show and layan semua lagu.

Awie on stage maintain good antics & humour. Especially bile audien yang jerit nama Husin - karekter dia dalam citer Hantu Kak Limah. banyak gak la antics from citer Kak Limah on stage.

Joe maintain cool ngan janggut dia. Joe pakai hooded sweatshirt - probably from Harley Davidson (so want that hooded)and never missed a beat from his les paul standard (so want it too). Joe sebagai pengarah muzik malam tu memang terserlah kecemerlangannye. kalau justin bibir nak buat collaboration ngan any orchestra sekalipun, Joe can pull it off.

Eddie - tetap cool gak - tapi tak banyak skills displayed. Aku kalau dapat natengok Eddie goreng bass dia sampai berapi

Black - tetap Black - ngan seluar merah dia tu aku teringat satu poster Wings kat sekolah dulu. drums kalau kat tangan Black memang jadi bunyi yang memberisemangat. Bile una double paddle tu, bunyi macam mesin yang gerakkan paddle.

Mus, Mel, Jojet n Sham plak memang memantapkan stage. tapi Mel macam less agresif. nampak pancit.

Berbaloi la show from 8:45 sampai 11:50... pueh hati den...
Yang tak best nye, kena duduk je je sepanjang masa, nak bagi standing ovation pun tak best coz orang belakang marah... ye la, Istana Budaya la katakan.

Next - aku nak layan double trouble plak... heheheheeee

Just to update, rib eye steak at san francisco steakhouse, yummy...
